The PAL Youth Center serves youth ages 8 to 17. Membership is $50 or $25 for those youth who qualify for free or reduced lunch (youth must provide copy of school acceptance letter). PAL does not pro-rate; however, a variety of payment options are available. Members not paying the annual fee in full must put a minimum of $5 down and arrange for monthly payments of $10 per month. [Volunteer service may be arranged for payment.]
Fees are not refundable.

PAL Adventure Camp
Process for becoming a PAL Teen Member
(youth entering grades 8 - 12 for the
2008-09 school year are eligible) Step One: Have a parent or guardian complete the Youth Center Application and the teen must read and agree to the PAL Teen Membership Expectations & Agreements. Both of these documents, along with the membership fee, must be returned to the Center.
Step Two: Once the forms are turned in there will be a 5-day waiting period before the youth may begin attending the Youth Center. During this time PAL staff will be verifying parental consent, verifying school enrollment and attendance, verifying lack of school discipline and/or criminal activity, and setting up an orientation for the potential PAL member and their parent/guardian or other adult figure.
Step Three: If the parent/guardian supports the teen member's participation at PAL, the teen is currently enrolled and attending school, the teen is in good legal standing, and the teen and their parent/guardian or other significant adult have been through PAL orientation then they are able to begin their participation at PAL.
Special thanks to Portland Police Bureau
